#30: Michael Ray Richardson (1978–1986)
Michael Ray Richardson could do it all. At 6’5”, he had size, speed, and court vision—averaging 15 points, 7.0 assists, and nearly three steals per game during his prime. He led the league in steals three times and assists once. A four-time All-Star, Richardson was often called “Sugar” for his smooth style and effortless grace.

Off the court, personal struggles shortened his NBA run, but on it, he had few equals in the early ’80s. He once dropped 36 points, 18 assists, and nine steals in a single game. When Richardson was locked in, he looked unstoppable.
