#39: James Harden (2009–Present)
Technically listed as a shooting guard for much of his career, James Harden transformed into one of the most productive point guards ever. In 2017, he led the league in assists with 11.2 per game, and then won the MVP award in 2018 after averaging 30.4 points and nearly 9 assists.

He owns three scoring titles and is in the top 20 all-time in assists. Harden mastered the isolation ball, created the step-back three, and turned drawing fouls into an art form. Love him or not, he redefined modern offense. Harden didn’t just run the show—he slowed it down, rewrote it, and played it his way.
