#10: Steve Nash (1996–2015)
No player made basketball feel more fluid than Steve Nash. In 2005 and 2006, he won back-to-back MVPs, leading the Phoenix Suns to 62 and 54 wins with pace, precision, and nearly flawless execution. Nash ran the pick-and-roll like a choreographed dance, dishing passes between defenders’ legs or behind his head.

He led the league in assists five times, shot over 50/40/90 four separate seasons, and turned every offense into a highlight reel. Despite never making the Finals, his influence on modern basketball, encompassing spacing, pace, and passing, is evident everywhere today. Nash didn’t overpower opponents. He out-thought them.
