I guess it’s pretty metal to fly an airplane. It’s pretty metal in general to have a whole bunch of other pursuits outside of music, and when not wowing audiences with his operatic vocals and electric energy, Bruce Dickinson makes pretty good on that. And we’re not only talking about flying planes.

He’s also been known to brew beers and compete in international fencing competitions. But one thing is for sure, when you can fly a plane (and have the money to charter one) it provides a level of independence unlike any other. I’d certainly like to be in Bruce’s inner circle for a chance at that.
