#22: He Has His Own Production Company
Behind the scenes, Depp wasn’t just acting—he was producing. In 2004, he co-founded Infinitum Nihil, a film production company focused on projects reflecting his unconventional taste. Under this banner, he helped bring The Rum Diary, Hugo, and Mortdecai to the screen.

The company allowed him to shape stories from the ground up, not just perform in them. It also gave space for riskier material that studios might avoid. While not every film was a hit, the venture proved that Depp wasn’t content being a hired gun. He wanted to build the worlds he inhabited, not just visit them.
