Elements of Comic Book Design
A comic book weaves its tale through various elements, starting with the panel, an encapsulated illustration, usually bordered, on a page. Multiple panels unite on a page to craft the narrative as envisioned by the creator.

Narrative progression in comics is achieved through panels depicting actions, characters, and dialogue within speech bubbles. The gutter, or space between panels, alongside the tier—a row of panels—plays a crucial role in the story’s pacing and the reader’s experience.
