#20: Public Group Chanting (Harinam)
Hare Krishnas are known for chanting and dancing in public spaces — parks, streets, festivals, wherever people gather. This practice, called harinam, is meant to share joy, music, and community energy in a totally open and accessible way.
For devotees, it’s one of the most fun and uplifting things they do. The music is lively, the drums are loud, and strangers often stop to smile or join in. What looks unusual at first quickly turns into a kind of moving celebration that brings out a lot of curiosity and connection.
