#17: Kentucky
This Kentucky couple looks like they just walked out of a folk ballad—he’s all square jaw and stoic denim, while she’s radiating Celtic fire with that cascade of auburn curls and a stare that could calm a wild horse. The tool leaned heavily into the Appalachian mystique here: rootsy, serious, and perhaps a touch haunted.

It’s the stereotype of Kentucky as moonshine country, full of fiddle tunes, family lore, and holler-born grit. Of course, Kentucky also gave us bluegrass, bourbon, and the Derby—but this image? It’s all front-porch wisdom and passed-down recipes, with just enough brooding drama to feel legendary.
