#18: A Sears Can Opener
Can you believe this huge contraption is a can opener? This retro device was discovered by an antique lover at their local Goodwill. They were able to snag this for under a dollar. In all honesty, the employees at Goodwill probably had no idea what this thing was. We’re not sure how convenient a wall-mounted can opener is these days.

At least it has a retro charm and appeal. The design looks ‘50s or ‘60s, and there’s no piece of plastic in sight besides the handle. Fans of this can opener swear that it can open anything. Most of us might want to stick to our little handheld devices that can be stashed away in a drawer somewhere.
