Vintage Kitchen Items That Are a Blast From the Past

Someone recently obtained a new-to-them Chambers stove from the early 20th century. This retro oven and stovetop are in glowing, near-perfect condition. Chambers stoves were a specific brand produced between the 1910s and late 1980s. Obviously, this stove dates back to an era way before the ‘80s. Just look at all that steel and chrome.

This vintage stove has a lot of interesting features that our modern-day ovens simply don’t have. First off, that flat surface on the left is a griddle that lifts up to reveal a broiler and sizzle platter perfect for roasting things like bacon. On top of that, the back right pilot is a little container that can keep sauces and gravies warm. You can also warm up ingredients like butter or cream cheese for baking. Pretty nifty!
